Bio

Doctorate in Social Sciences from the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (CIESAS)-Occidente; Master's in Environmental Health Sciences from the Universidad de Guadalajara; and Industrial Engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Guzmán. Member of the National Researchers System at the Candidate level 2020-2024. Her research focus is on Sustainability and the environment, with an emphasis on local environmental management. She is a member of the Network of Researchers in Mexican Local Governments, A.C., as well as the Mexican Society of Science and Technology Applied to Solid Waste, A.C., and the Ibero-American research network Environmental Sanitation Engineering (REDISA). She is currently a Professor at the University of Guadalajara at the University Center for Economic and Administrative Sciences and serves as the Coordinator of the Bachelor's program in Environmental Management and Economics. She has participated in specialized national and international conferences, published in national and international journals, and has authored book chapters and coordinated them.
