Head of the Growth and Environment Research Area, Department of Economics, Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Azcapotzalco. Women in Science Award from the Mexican Academy of Sciences. Reviewer and contributing author for the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Member of the World Council of Social Sciences of UNESCO, of the Group of the National System of Researchers of CONAHCYT (Level II), of the Multi-stakeholder Coalition of Women for Water of UNESCO, of the Mexican Delegation to the Conference of the Parties ( COP). Author of various articles, chapters and books on climate change, water, energy and mining. Responsible for the working group for the Environmental Rescue of La Piedad Lagoon, Mexico. Recognition as a Woman Water Defender by the Water Secretariat of the Government of the State of Mexico. Recognition by the Judiciary of Mexico City for the work carried out to build a more inclusive and equitable society for women within the framework of World Women's Day.
