Session Description
The concepts of “placemaking” and “creative placemaking” have become popular and institutionalized over the last decade. This session will explore best practices and criticism of some placemaking practices, as well as models that seek to achieve meaningful and authentic community development. The session will include examples of community engagement projects built around placemaking concepts.
